Description
This course is designed to help students incorporate instructional media into their teaching and
preaching ministries. It covers layout and design principles, production of projected and non-projected
visuals, use of computers and the Internet, and the latest social media tools. The goal is to help
students find ways to use all the tools available to enhance teaching and learning.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
1.
Explain the role of media in planning and instruction.
2.
Apply layout and design principles to media projects.
3.
Demonstrate the proper setup and use of various media equipment.
4.
Design and produce projected and nonprojected visuals using appropriate layout and design
principles.
5.
Demonstrate how to properly mount and preserve nonprojected visuals.
6.
Demonstrate the proper use of 3-D models and real objects in instruction and ministry.
7.
Describe the latest Internet tools available.
8.
Explain how to incorporate media into lesson plans and sermons.
