Description
This course is a study of the The Life of Christ in the Synoptic Gospels A Study in the Book of Hebrews
uses both analytical and topical studies to develop the main themes in the Epistle to the Hebrews. An
introductory study of the structure of the book will help you see more clearly its relationship to the Old
Testament and the pattern of its development. Historical information on the background of the book will
give you a better understanding of its warnings and exhortations. An abundance of charts and outlines
emphasize the main truths of the Epistle and will be of great value to those who wish to use any of
them in preaching or teaching from Hebrews.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
1.
Explain the struggle of the people to whom Hebrews was written and compare it with spiritual
problems that exist for some Christians of different religious backgrounds in your area today.
2.
Understand the relationship between the old covenant and the new and explain how the
symbolism in the tabernacle and the sacrificial system are fulfilled in Christ.
3.
Appreciate more deeply the priesthood of Christ and the advantages that He gives you by His
present ministry.
4.
Apply in your life and ministry the principles given in Hebrews for spiritual growth and a life of
faith in Jesus Christ.
5.
Use in your preaching and teaching any of the charts that you may find helpful as you share the
truths of Hebrews.
6.
Discover more easily the rich truths in other books of the Bible as you apply the study methods
and skills developed in this course.
